Mr. Lim, based in San Francisco, has years of experience in the real estate industry and is a member of Rockwood’s credit strategies team. Mr. Lim is responsible for West Coast originations of new credit opportunities across various product types including multifamily, office, hospitality, and retail assets.

Prior to joining Rockwood, Mr. Lim spent seven years in loan originations as a Director at MetLife Real Estate Investors and as an Associate at Prudential Mortgage Capital Company. Mr. Lim’s prior experience includes originating, underwriting, and structuring first mortgages, senior unsecured, and securitized Agency real estate loans across the U.S. and Canada for all property types, as well as managing loan portfolios and restructuring non-performing and distressed loan assets. Prior to Prudential, Mr. Lim was a Founder and Managing Partner of Bucks Capital Partners, a QSR franchisee with operations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, where he oversaw development and operations, and was the Founder of a Construction Management firm in which he performed as the General Contractor for several projects.

Mr. Lim received a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from New York University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School with a concentration in Real Estate.
